All Dolled Up: Feel Like A Queen Every Day.

With so many things to do and so few hours to do them in, it’s easy to lose yourself in this madness called “life.” Even though life can be challenging at times, you wouldn’t know it by looking at Kent King. She looks so serene. What in the world could she be doing or what products could she be using to keep the peace and come out on the other end looking so fabulous?! I bet her favorite spa knows to expect her every Saturday for her usual body buffing treatment with a side of foot pampering to start the day and a deep tissue massage to send her off into the world. Who knows. But, whatever it is, I’ll have a side of that.

Since it isn’t always possible to fit in that well-deserved spa visit, there are ways to treat yourself like a queen in your own home any day of the week starting with a product line from Greece that helps reinforce that very notion - Kings and Queens. Are you a bar soap kinda gal? If so, then the aptly-named Kings & Queens Soap, Nefertiti - Honey ($6.00, beauty.com) is for you. There’s something to be said about being linked to the “icon of beauty” every time you take a bath. And for only $6, it’s worth it.

To continue the theme of treating yourself special, pick up a jar of Black Opal Papaya Body Butter (price varies, walmart.com). It contains shea butter which makes it quite rich and does a fantastic job of moisturizing your skin. The papaya enzymes brighten and exfoliate your skin to reveal a radiant glow. The only question is - do you like the smell of papaya? I’m on the fence. Let me know what you think.

As a queen, a foot massage is always in order, so why not take a tube of Sally Hansen Hydrating Foot Cream ($7.99, walgreens.com) to your next pedi appointment? Restore moisture to your dry feet with this rich, botanical moisturizer. The best part: it slows the formation of calluses. From your lips to God’s ears! Thank you.

Here are a few more tips to keep you feeling like a queen:

Tip 1: Pay attention to chemistry. To pick a sexy fragrance that reflects your personality, first spray the perfume on your wrist and then wait about 10 minutes before deciding. You have to see how your body reacts to the scent, but it also gives you an idea of how the fragrance lingers. The ultimate treat for me is Romance Always Yours Elixir de Parfum Natural Spray by Ralph Lauren ($62, ulta.com). It’s the perfect scent for my spicy personality. If you’re into a muskier scent, then this is a perfect choice.

Tip 2: Get younger looking lips. Massage Nude Lip Balm ($14, barneys.com) into your lips whenever the mood hits you. It promotes blood flow that helps to give your lips a beautiful, natural glow.
