These women put their stamp on the world of beauty last year that I thought it only fitting that an entry be written in their honor…

Naomi Campbell’s got a physique that defies time and a beauty that designers continue to harken back to runways season after season. But last year, this supermodel had an unfortunate candid camera moment where most of us saw her missing hairline which just proves that even the most beautiful women aren’t perfect - check out my entry HAIR PROBLEMS SOLVED: Combat Premature Baldness.

R&B songtress Chrisette Michele belts out a ballad like no other, but what’s exceptional about this beauty is that she’s fully excepting of her brand of beauty: natural hair, full lips, and the fullness in her hips. In short, wouldn’t you love you if you looked like Chrisette?    

Raise your hands in the air if you agree with me ladies…Nia Long can do no wrong in any short haircut she wears! With minimal makeup to boot, she represents an ease that comes across as very approachable and unassuming. 

From the background position of the past to the lead on her own stage, Miss Kelly Rowland was and will always be my favorite of the now defunct left Destiny’s Child. With every public appearance, she’s proven herself to be a style-maven (from her head to her toes). What woman watching her wouldn’t respond to that?!

Rihanna’s ever-changing hairstyles keeps us on the edge of our seats…one a little more outrageous than the last (let-alone the hair color)! One thing’s for certain, even though we may not all run out to emulate her latest looks (sometimes androgynous in it’s feel), she at least succeeds in getting us to take a second glance.
