(October 9, 2013) United Colors of Fashion (UCOF) held their 3rd Annual Gala & International Fashion Benefit at the Lexington Avenue Armory in New York City last Wednesday evening with Fern Mallis serving as honorary chair.
Legendary Supermodels of the 1980’s like Pat Cleveland. Bethann Hardison and many other notables graced the red carpet at this gala.
UCOF is the first registered 501 9c)(3) organization in the United States to offer free fashion education to youth in the tri-state area.
UCOF aims to provide a space for aspiring fashion designers to hold runway shows, showrooms to sell their rproducts, studio space for holding casting calls, photoshoots, fittings, free sewing classes for low-income individuals and so much more.
