I’m just a girl with a few thoughts about this years favorite Grammy Awards 2012 beauty looks on the red carpet…
Rihanna rocked a simple black Giorgio Armani dress that dipped and dived in all of the right places and no nip-slips to speak of…thank goodness for double-stick tape. She gets an 8 out of 10 because I just can’t get used to her blonde hair. A woman wearing this little should definitely make good use of a body bronzer.
Forever my beauty muse, Kelly Rowland looked pretty in this silver floral-embellished Alberta Ferretti gown with curly hair pulled back, however, I just wished she’d taken my breath away which sadly didn’t happen this go ’round. I guess even the best beauty muses can have a somewhat off night, right? Maybe next time Kelly!
Alicia took no prisoners in the Grace Jones-esque pompadour-styled ‘do. The gold collar necklace and strong shoulders in this fit-to-her-body-perfection Alexandre Vauthier Couture black dress gets a “A” in my book. I actually want this look for myself.
Quirky is as quirky does and both Corinne & Esperanza fit the bill perfectly – Corinne in a Christian Siriano full, textured skirt and wavy, slightly disheveled hair to boot. I just love Esperanza’s “do you” attitude. She does it her way – the boho chic way. Gotta love these natural-textured beauties.
And we musn’t forget the sexy lady with the top knot of burgundy dreads – the talented singer Ledisi. This strapless, silver sequined number was perfectly accessorized with dramatic eye makeup and a pair of studs…you go girl!
By the way, did anyone notice that RiRi & Alicia had the same shoes on? Do they have the same stylist? Something tells me NOT!
