Mauve Makeup
Shades of rich and pale purple shades are what dominate Mary Kay Cosmetics magestic new Limited Edition Fall Color Collection. And granted, just because the monochromatic mauve makeup trend was huge last year, if it still looks good on you this year, by all means, rock it. No haters allowed. Or if wearing a trend that’s already being done doesn’t sit well with you, then don’t wear all the mauve-y shades from this collection at once, instead, rock small touches of the trend so you don’t feel conspicuous. Why You’ll Love It
I was super close to becoming your neighborhood Mary Kay rep, but as luck would have it, I opted out. It’s nice to know that even though I said no then, I still get to play with all of the brand’s latest launches now. And now my thoughts on the collection…
I love the smell of color payoff of Lip Suede in Mulberry Muse – reminds me of a pomegranate. Lip Suede glides across my lips with no skipping and deposits rich color in just a few swipes. I’m not really an eyeshadow girl, but I did swatch the Eye Palettes in both color combinations on my forearm and was happy with how pigmented both appeared on my deep skin tone….in other words, these shades will look fabulous on the fairest and deepest of skin tones. Sadly, I didn’t have any Nail Lacquer to play with, so no thoughts there, but I will say that I’d rock each and every one of them!
