The Buzz

Lakaye Studio has introduced temporary henna tattoos to the West Coast - the Earth Henna and Earth Jagua temporary tattoo kits. Both kits come with everything you need to create one-of-a-kind designs on you or your friends complete with easy-to-use stencil transfers, professional applicator bottle and tip, pre-measured henna paste and jagua gel for perfect consistency every time.

The Henna kit will leave a reddish/brown stain on your skin that lasts 7-10 days. The Jagua kit leaves a blue/black stain on your skin that lasts 10 days to two weeks, and the White Lace and Silver Lace Tattoos don't stain your skin at all and lasts anywhere between 1-5 days.

Price: $13-$31

Availability: Urban Outfitters, Tilly’s, Fuego, and Whole Foods Market [spacer][fullwidthimage photourl="https://www.hueknewit.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/04/henna-kit.jpg"][spacer]

Why You'll Love Them

I was a little intimidated by the idea of applying my own henna tattoo, so I chose the White Lace and Silver Lace Tattoo Kit, which I knew wouldn't stain my hand if I made a mistake. The kit was as described, pretty easy to use. What I wished I'd had was stencil instead of only henna drawings that I could copy. Seeing that I'm not much of an artist, I fashioned a few curly Q's on my fingers and kept it moving. The instructions were easy to follow, and the design dried quickly and lasted a full day...maybe it would've lasted longer if I was a bit more careful, but oh well. This kit (and the others) is must festival goers!
