Why You’ll Switch To This Natural Deodorant

Natural Deodorant

The difference between a natural deodorant and a regular one is that Kinkō is free of rash-causing aluminum and baking soda. Formulated by a a French cosmetic scientist and a beauty biz veteran –Kinkō, which translates to balance in Japanese is a safe, non-toxic personal care brand that works with your skin’s natural microbiome for better skin health.

The Buzz

Kinkō Microbiomix Balancing Deodorant is an aluminum-free, baking soda-free, all-natural deodorant that balances your skin’s microbiome – the invisible ecosystem that lives on your skin.  The odor is caused when sweat comes into contact with our skin’s bacteria causing that not-so-pleasant smell. Powered by their patent-pending ingredient blend, Microbiomix™, this works by nurturing the good bacteria and neutralizing the bad which results in 24-hour odor protection. Developed by a master perfumer in France, the Sakura Rose carries a light scent that’s 100% naturally-derived and hypo-allergenic and is reminiscent of cherry blossoms blended with rose petals.

Key Natural Ingredients:

  • Acacia Senegal Gum: sourced from the acacia tree
  • Caprylic Acid: sourced from the coconut
  • Oryza Sativa (Rice) Bran Extract

Price: $18

Why You’ll Love It

I’ve been a Mitchum user for years, and most recently made the switch to Secret, which has bee pretty effective. With all the talk about natural deodorants, it only seemed right to give this latest deo (Sakura Rose is my favorite) a chance and to my surprise it kept my perspiration in check. My armpits weren’t irritated at any point during and even stress sweat wasn’t even an issue. This is a thumbs up people!
