For Makeup Junkies…Do Blue This Fall

Urban Decay Vice Lipstick

So what’s your vice? If you’re anything like Rihanna, you can’t live without choices upon choices upon choices of bright, off-the-wall lipstick shades like what is offered in Urban Decay’s new Vice Lipstick Collection. About what lipstick means to her, Rihanna once said…

Lipstick. It draws attention away from any flaws. When someone is wearing lipstick, you just assume they’re wearing a full face of makeup. And guys are stupid–they won’t notice when you’re not.

The Buzz

The skinny on the new Urban Decay Vice Lipsticks is that the shade range comes 100+ shades deep in bold brights, sexy dark shades, and wear-with-anything neutrals! The collection of lipsticks includes not only cult favorites, but was inspired by other UD lip products. The assortment of Vice shades includes six indulgent finishes – Mega Matte, Comfort Matte, Cream, Metallized, Sheer, and Sheer Shimmer, each with a no-drag application and is rich in pigment for maximum color payout.

Vice Lipstick contains UD’s propietary Pigment Infusion System, which accounts for its super creamy texture and superior color dispersion. This lipstick contains Yummy Butter Blend, which comforts, hydrates and enhances lips and leaves them feeling conditioned and soft. Other nourishing ingredients include: vitamin C and vitamin E, aloe vera, jojoba, avocado and babassu oils along with Illipe butter to deliver long-lasting moisture.

Price: $17

Availability: Sephora, Ulta Stores, Macy’s, sephora.com, ulta.com, macys.com, and urbandecay.com

Why You’ll Love It

As soon as I opened this much-anticipated Urban Decay mailer, the first color I gravitated towards was this shocking royal blue shade called Control (pictured). Don’t know why, but I no longer seek out a basic red when I think of making a statement…the more out there the color the better, so much so that it just seems normal to me. From the first wand of this cream lipstick onto my lips to the last, it applied like a super soft creamy dream. Other brands with similar shades tend to go on a bit chalky, and well, let’s just say that the overwhelming feeling of “I need a tissue paper to remove this hot mess of a lipstick” is ever present, but, not with Vice. When I rub my lips together, Vice feels more like a nourishing lip balm that obviously deposits serious color. Thumbs up to Urban Decay with this new launch!
