It's been a very long time (talking years) that I've experienced an honest to goodness spa experience, which has me thinking that I'm way overdue. And while the touch of a seasoned skin care therapist doesn't take the place of a relaxing facial, I, at least got a taste of what could be using the Golden Door Spa luxury Try Me Kit. Typically not a fan of cleansing milks (just gel cleansers) I was pleasantly surprised with how the Hydrating Cleansing Milk cleansed my face of makeup. I followed up with the Face Scrub, which has a real hydrating effect, with granules that seemed to smooth across my face with ever so gentle exfoliation. The Peel-A-Way Masque left a little to be desired; I applied what I thought was a good amount of thickness so it could be easily be removed, but after it dried, it was only able to be removed slowly piece by piece, by piece. The one thing I wish this kit included was a moisturizer, which would make it a complete skin care routine for traveling.
