The Do’s of Fall Hair Care
Fall Hair Care
Take a page out of Christina Milian‘s book who easily transitions from glam ‘do to glam ‘do, and easily transition to a fall hair care routine that includes products from Redken, Paul Mitchell, and Salon Grafix, which nurture all hair textures as the temperatures outside continue to dip.

Curly or Wavy Hair
Fall hair care for the person with naturally curly or wavy hair, should include a product that will keep curls and waves moisturized, while still feeling light and voluminous, so try Redken’s Curvaceous Curly Ringlet Anti-Frizz Lotion ($23.50, drugstore.com). This product is best applied by using 1-2 pumps with your fingers and feathering into hair. When you use this product your curls will always get great definition and shine without being weighed down.
Increase Shine & Reduce Frizz
My ultimate styling product is Paul Mitchell’s Skinny Serum ($20, ulta.com, in-store only). No matter the style, Skinny Serum is fall hair care essential as it makes your hair soft and shiny. Best used after your hair is washed and slightly damp, apply 2-3 pumps or product in the palm of your hand and distribute it throughout your hair starting from the back, then blow dry and style accordingly. If used on already dry hair, use 1 pump and lightly apply primarily to reduce frizz and enhance shine.
Moisturize and Conditioning Styling
As a former Lead Stylist for Salon Grafix, I helped develop Salon Grafix’s Texturizing Cream ($6.99, ulta.com) where you’ll first notice the wonderful scent. Secondly, as you begin to work with this cream, you’ll feel how well it moisturizes and conditions your hair acting as a prep it for a finished style. This cream also has a medium hold making it great for blowouts and maintaining any style or shape while still giving it life.
I love these products not only great for their benefits, but also for their pocket-friendly price points.
