Face Contouring. It’s a Thing.

Much was improved with this latest addition to the IT family. The original My Sculpted Face Universal Palette left much to be desired because the how-to was on the back of the palette, so after each application of color I was forced to close the palette and turn to the back for more direction. Not ideal. Now, the how-to guide (really the picture of the woman displaying where what shades go where) is on the inside cover right next to a mirror to make sculpting so much easier and faster.

I also need to give to props on the Heavenly Luxe You Sculpted #18 Contour & Highlight Brush ($34.50, itcosmetics.com). As a card-carrying member of multiple IT Cosmetics makeup brushes, it was nice to see this brand’s continued effort to bring to market products we actually need. The brush’s design seemed to be made just for contouring, although it can be used to apply blushes, bronzers, and luminizers.  The hand-cut brush head and ergonomic handle delivers a precise, even stroke – two musts for creating naturally defined cheekbones and more.
