Haitian People
Enhancing the outer layer, therefore beautifying the person within is the core of HueKnewIt. However, with this post, we're digging in a little deeper into the human spirit by helping to raise awareness of the pending end of Temporary Protected Status (TPS) designation for
Haitian people by July 2019, which means that 50,000 Haitians who came to this country due to the devastating 2010 Haiti earthquake, will be forced to leave the United States, or find another way to apply and stay in the next 18 months.

Vicky Jeudy), this issue hits close to home...

The Buzz
All of Us has a standing partnership with the
International Rescue Committee (IRC) to ensure that up to 10% of each purchase supports refugees who are trying to recover and gain control of their future. Their collection of travel goods supports the intention of going out into the world together to support and stand with refugees who travel by requisite of conflict and crisis.
Andrew Gamson, co-founder of All of Us says...
We didn't create All of Us because the world needs another travel bag or hoodie, but rather because we need more compassion. Whether traveling across the globe or across the street, when someone sports All of Us travel bags or apparel, they'll be affirming their intention to go into the world with emotional generosity, cultural curiosity, inclusivity, and tolerance.
Developed in partnership with Andrew Zimmern, a four-time James Beard Award-winning TV personality and travel expert, the practical product line includes luggage items such as the
Drifter Travel Pack ($79.99),
Rolling 28" Checked Duffel ($99.99),
Hybrid 21" Carry-On Spinner Luggage ($139.99), and
apparel items including tee shirts and hoodies ($29.00-69.00).
Though initially drawn to the company's product, Zimmern committed to a three-year partnership with All of Us, thanks to the brand's strong mission. In addition to product development, Zimmern will help grow All of Us' travel community by appearing in videos and social posts for the brand, which will provide background on the refugee crisis, share his perspective and offer tips for transformative travel.
